Show Ss the unit task-- Record the English explanation video of "Preparation of Vegetable Salad Ingredients"(group work). 设计目的:Let students watch the video of making vegetable salad to arouse their interest in this lesson as well as clarify the learning task of this lesson. Step 2 Presentation(20’) Activity 1 Match. Match the pictures with the right phrases. 设计目的:Combine the real scenes in western cook with English expression and energize them to be ready for the next activity. Activity 2 Make dialogues Let Ss make dialogues with the key structures in pairs. 设计目的:Familiar with the vegetables used for salad and make vocabulary reserve for completing the following unit task. Activity 3 Oral practice. Mike :What are we going to do Chef : We are going to make vegetable salad. Mike : OK. What shall I do with them Chef :You can ___________. Mike : And then what about after that Chef : ___________. Mike : Shall I put them in the mixing bowl Chef : Sure.
