教学内容分析 原料加工工艺是整个西餐烹饪工艺的重要组成部分,具有很强的技术性,本单元介绍的是西餐中常见蔬菜原料及其初步加工方法。本课选自《西餐英语》第七单元《Vegetables》,主要学习烹饪原料中的蔬菜类食品,包括根茎类蔬菜、叶类蔬菜和豆类蔬菜。依据教学大纲和课程任务,本单元共有3个任务,分别是Lead in(导入), Focus on learning(聚焦学习)和 Give if off(知识拓展),授课学时5节。 本课是第七单元的起始课,主要是让学生了解并掌握常见的蔬菜单词和词组,在教学过程中,教师可以使用实物教学法,帮助学生更好的掌握相关词汇。
教学目标 知识目标 1.Recognize the common vegetable ingredients in western food, such as: taro, soybean, broccoli, artichoke, cauliflower,ect. 2.Learn and get familiar with the words of vegetables, such as: onion,celery, Chinese cabbage ,eggplant,ect.
能力目标 1. Ss will be able to konw the words of vegetables, such as: a onion,celery, Chinese cabbage ,eggplant,ect. 2. Ss will be able to use the key sentences, such as: A: What is it called in English B: It is ... .... A: What do we call it in Chinese B: It’s “... ....”.
素养目标 Students will be experience the difference between the selection of vegetable ingredients in China and the West .

教学设计 Step 1 Lead in (3’) Show students a short video about making vegetable salad. 1.What is the chef cooking The chef is making vegetable salad . 2.Can you make vegetable salad Yes , I can./No,I can’t. 3.Do you konw which vegetables are usually used for vegetable salad Cabbage, tomato and cucumber. 设计目的:Use video to stimulate students’ interest in learning the knowledge of this lesson. Step 2 Preparation (2’) Activity 1 Check the preview work (mind mapping, pictures of vegetables) Students share the preview work on vegetables in English. Activity 2 Brainstorm What kind of vegetables do you like best ( in English or in Chinese) Broccoli(西蓝花),green pepper(青椒),Tomatoe(西红柿)... 设计目的:Improve the ability of independent learning, arouse students’old knowledge and stimulate students’ desire to learn new knowledge. Step 3 Presentation (20m') Part one Lead in Activity 1 Look and match. Present Ss some pictures of the fish and ask them to match the English name with the right picture. 设计目的:To contextualize Ss of the content of this lesson and energize them to be ready for the class. Activity 2 Write. Write the English expressions of the following vegetables according to the description. 1.________ What is long and orange 2.________ What is long, big and white inside, but green leaves outside 3.________ Used in salad as they are crisp and fresh with big leaves. 4.________ What is purple and spicy 设计目的:Guess the vegetables by describing the shape and characteristics of vegetables, which can not only stimulate students’ interest in vegetables, but also make Ss better understand vegetables. Activity 3 Oral practice. A: What is it called in English B: It is celery. A: What do we call it in Chinese B: It’s “qincai”. cabbage/celery/potato/lettuce/Chinese cabbage/carrot/onion 设计目的:Practice the students’ ability on oral English. Part 2 Focus on learning Activity 1 Read.
