教学内容分析 本课是第六单元的第二课时。在第一课时的学习中，学生已经学习并掌握了西餐厨房工作中常见的水果，如：草莓，西瓜，芒果，柠檬等. 本课主要是引导学生了解并初步掌握水果初加工的操作步骤以及相关的英语描述。在教学过程中，教师可以结合学生的实际生活，引导学生学习和掌握与水果相关的英文词汇以及水果初加工的操作流程，建议有条件的学校可以和专业课教师进行双语授课。
教学目标 知识目标 1. Learn and get familiar with the words to express the order of making fruit juice, such as: first, then, ect. 2. Recognize and speak out the phrases of making fruit juice, such as: make grape juice, peel the peach,wash and soak the grapes, remove the seeds,put them in the liquidizer,ect.
能力目标 Learn and read the dialogue about making the fruit juice fluently Imitate and speak out the key sentences of making fruit juice. 1. What are we going to do today we’ll make grape juice today. / We’ll make a fruit salad today. 2. What can I do with the grapes Wash and soak them in the salt water.
素养目标 Students will pay more attention to the safety while making fruit juice.
教学重点 Speak out the words and phrases of making the fruit juice, such as: first, then, after that, wash and soak them, peel them and remove the seeds,ect.
教学难点 Use the key sentences to describe the process of making grape juice, attention should be paid to the adverbs of time: 1. What are we going to do today we’ll make grape juice today. / We’ll make a fruit salad today. 2.What shall I do with the grapes First, wash and soak them in the salt water about 5 minutes, then peel them and remove the seeds, put them in the liquidizer.

教学设计 Step 1 Lead in (3’) Activity 1 Show students some pictures of fruits and ask the questions: 1.What is this fruit called in English 2.What can we do with the fruit] Activity 2 Be clear about the learning objectives : 1.Read the dialogue fluently and get the general idea of it. 2.Understand the process of making fruit juice in a real task. 【设计目的】Motivate students’ learning interest and focus on the main task in this lesson. Step 2 Before reading (2’) Part 2 Focus on learning Activity 1 Read and answer. Question : What will Mike and chef do today They will make grape juice today. 【设计目的】Skim and get the general idea of the dialogue. Step 3 While reading(20’) Activity 1 Read and answer. Q 1: What will Mike do with the grapes Wash and soak them in the salt water, peel them and remove the seeds, then put them in the liquidizer. Q 2: Where is Mike going to put the grapes In the liquidizer. 【设计目的】Get to know the key information by answering the questions Activity 2 Read the dialogue. Read the dialogue by following the tape. Step 5 Summary(4’) Invite students to summarize the key words and phrases about making the fruit juice, such as: make grape juice, peel the peach,wash and soak the grapes, remove the seeds,put them in the liquidizer,ect. Make a summary about the key sentences, attention should be paid to the adverbs of time: What are we going to do today We’ll make a fruit salad today. First, prepare one orange, two bananas and an apple, And then peel and cut up the fruits. then put them in a mixing bowl, put two teaspoons of honey and mix them up. 【设计目的】To summarize what they have learned by the end of the class. Step 6 Homework(1’) Read the new words and expressions then upload it to Xuexitong. 2. Make a mind map to introduce the process of making fruit juice or a fruit salad and upload it to Xuexitong, then vote for your favorite mind map.
