单元主题分析
本单元 本单元主题:食物及用餐用语。该主题属于“人与自我”“人与社会”的范畴,本单元学习的主题是用餐,围绕着大话题:Dinner at different places而展开,然后下面划分为三大子话题“Dinner at the restaurant”“Dinner at home”“Dinner at the party”,其中子话题“Dinner at home”划分为三个课时话题,分别是“Mike’s home”“Wu Binbin’s”“John’s home”,三个家庭代表中西饮食文化及用餐礼仪的差异,以及中西文化在日常生活中相互交融、相互影响。话题之间相互促成,又紧跟单元主题意义。
单元设计框架(示意图)
学情分析
本单元是人教版英语(三年级起点)四年级上册第五单元,主要围绕“食物及用餐用语"这个话题,重点学习食物名词及餐具等相关词汇及一些用餐用语。四年级的学生,他们具备一定的英语学习基础和英语学习能力,能够听懂、会说一些简单的语言,能在教师指导下初步形成规范的学习习惯,对课堂上的大多数学习活动有新鲜感,能在老师引导下完成相关学习任务。四年级的学生,他们对食物已经有了初步的了解并且他们对食物有着很大的热情,他们在三年级上册Unit 5 Let’s eat学过有关食物的话题,掌握一定的食物单词储备量,如:rice, fish, bread, milk, juice等,并能运用句型:I’d like some beef.来表达自己的用餐意愿,但是他们对中西方饮食差异,中西方用餐礼仪了解比较少。所以在本单元的教学设计中应注重提升学生积极性和专注度,引导学生了解中西方餐饮文化的差异,感悟中西文化相融,中国文化影响世界,提升民族自信。
单元整体设计思路
围绕单元主题,深挖各课时话题,本单元学习的主题是“食物及用餐用语”。本单元要学习的核心词汇:食物名词vegetables, chicken, noodles, beef, soup及餐具knife, fork, spoon, bowl, chopsticks等名词,征求和表达用餐的意愿, 点餐, 用餐What would you like for dinner I'd like ...Would you like... 本节课是词汇篇, 主要学习5个食物名词vegetables, chicken, noodles, beef, soup, 根据图片, 音频, 书写等让学生从听觉、视觉直观感知本节课的核心词汇和句型What would you like I'd like ...OK. ...yuan, please.询问并表达用餐意愿,通过自主发表看法和意见,让学生在交际中巩固所学内容,从中体验、实践、交流和探究语言,达成逐步熟悉词汇的意义和功能再通过Zoom 到Zip的餐馆点餐, 通过征求和表达用餐的意愿,培养学生健康饮食习惯,渗透科学饮食的思想。
