用特殊疑问词where提问的结构： Where+be+主语(人/物)
be动词取决于主语的单复数
e.g. —Where is my pen
—我的钢笔在哪里
—It is on the desk.
—它在桌子上。
Grammar points
存现句(There be Structure)
“There is/are+某物/某人+某地/某时”结构表示“某地或某时有某物或某人”。在这一结构中，there没有实际意义，常弱读成/ /。句子中的系动词be和后面的名词在数的方面必须保持一致。
there be 结构的基本句型
句式 结构 例子
肯定句 There is/are+某物/某人+地点状语. There is a cup on the table.
否定句 There isn’t/aren’t+某物/某人+地点状语. There aren’t any balls in the classroom.
一般 疑问句 Is/Are there+某物/某人+地点状语 肯定回答：Yes, there is/are. 否定回答：No, there isn’t/aren’t. —Is there a restaurant near here
—Yes, there is. / No, there isn’t.
注：在存现句中，在有并列主语的情况下，往往根据第一个主语的单复数来确定系动词be的形式。
e.g.
There is a pen and two books on the desk.
桌子上有一支钢笔和两本书。
There are two boys and a girl in the room.
房间里有两个男孩和一个女孩。
方位介词的用法
（1） 表示方位的介词in， on， under， behind等通常与名词组成介词短语，指明物品所在的具体方位。名词前常有定冠词the/不定冠词a， an/形容词性物主代词等。
