Review T: Good morning, class! We have learned about different countries through some delicious food and beautiful buildings. And we learned some basic information about 4 countries in last class. What countries are they Let’s review together.
Warm-up Lead-in: T: Today, let’s have a trip together! We will enjoy some beautiful landscapes in the world. Are you ready Let’s go! Show 4 pictures to the students and present these questions: the Great Wall Niagara Falls the Sahara Desert the Amazon River Gate Bridge Q1: Do you know the names of these landscapes Where are they Q2: Which one do you want to pay a visit to Why or why not
Teaching Avtivities Activity 1: Pre-reading Task 1: Master the new words Learn new words in sentences by filling in blanks based on different pictures. This is a desert. It’s very dry. Look! Someone is ridding a camel in the desert. The Amazon River goes through the rainforest. There is a lot of rainfall there. It’s exciting to take a tour and see the waterfalls falling down. The Great Wall is 6000 kilometres long. I like climbing mountains.
