教材分析 本单元的主题是学校生活,warming up部分让学生说出自己自己喜爱的科目,并说出理由,这是学生很熟悉的话题,拉进与学生的距离;第二部分的listening and speaking与热身部分的内容类似,通过这两个部分的学习,学生学生能在交谈中理解学校生活的相关信息,并能就学校相关课程和活动及时间安排进行交流。
学情分析 校园生活是学生较为熟悉的话题,对于本单元的听说内容,学生在学科的表达以及校园活动相关词汇方面已经有了一定的积累,大多能使用诸如interesting和boring等形容词来表达个人的感受,但是或还无法就校园活动计划和时间安排进行自如交谈,对职业学校学习和生活方面的相关词汇了解也相对有限。因此,教师在教学活动中引导学生结合自身的学习体会,由简到繁,由机械模仿到替换练习,再到语言实践,最终使学生能就学校相关课程和活动及时间安排进行流利交流。
学习目标 Knowledge objectives: To learn words and phrases about school life. To learn the sentence patterns:What’s your favorite subject / Why do you like it / What are you going to do / Where are they holding it / When will it begin Ability objective: To be able to talk about school life and class arrange and express one’s own opinions. Emotional objectives: To learn more about vocational education. To have a positive attitude towards different subjects and understand the joy.

Step 1: Lead in Activity 1: Watch a video Play a video about “What’s your favorite subject ” Activity 2: What subject is it Teach words of every subject by “taking a photo”. Activity 3: What’s your favorite subject Show some pictures of famous people and ask students what are their favorite subjects. Watch the video. Learn words of different subjects. And think about the favorite subjects of these famous people. 通过播放视频,展示名人图片等手段导入与主题相关的词汇,激发学生兴趣,激活知识。
Step 2: Warming up Activity 1: Look and match. Discuss with students what are their favorite subjects and why they like it. Activity 2: Look and complete. Ask students to make use of the sentence patterns to practice with partners. Match the adjectives with different subjects. Practice the sentence patterns with classmates. 本环节旨在帮助学生了解中职学校课程相关词汇和描述学习感受的形容词,熟悉讨论喜好及原因的简单对话,为后续的听力活动做准备。
Step 3: Listening Activity 1: Listen and tick. Ask students to look at the pictures and predict the content of the listening. Activity 2: Listen and decide. Play the listening again and ask students to read the sentences and judge true or false. Activity 3: Listen and match. Play the video again and ask students to pay attention to the key words and then check answers. Predict the content and match the correct picture. Listen and grasp the key words. Match the information, 活动旨在训练学生通过图片和句子预测听力内容的技巧,提升学生提取关键信息的能力和语言交互能力,同时也为下一步骤中的语言输出做准备。
Step 4: Dialogue learning Activity 1: Lead in Ask students what do they usually do after class and let them predict the content of the dialogue. Activity 2: Listen read and underline Play the listening material and introduce the background information. Activity 3: Watch the video. Play the video twice and ask students to answer some questions. Activity 4: Important points learning. Analyze the important points of the dialogue. Activity 5: Imitate and practice. Create a situation of parents coming to school to see you and ask you some questions. The teacher separates the information and let students answer them one by one. Activity 6: Role play Explain difficult words and let students know clearly what jobs the trainee should do. 1.Speak out as many after school activities as possible. 2.Listen and imitate the pronunciation and then underline sentences about information asking. 3.Watch the video and then answer questions. 4.Understand the important points and take notes. Make use of the key information and answer questions. Role play with partners. 通过跟读录音和观看视频等活动,学生对对话文本有初步了解。 通过对文本精读,分析,让学生夯实重点,也为接下来的练习部分做铺垫。 通过问答的形式掌握对话练习的要点和模式,巩固上面对话的重点内容。 通过替换关键词模仿练习提高学生将语言知识和口语表达技能迁移到实际语境中的能力。
Step 5: Practice Let students do the multiple choices of the ppt. Do multiple choices. 查漏补缺,检验学生知识掌握程度。
Step 6: Summary words: chemistry,physics,politics,relaxing,useful, information technology,favorite,subject, competition.free... phrases: plan for sth,plan to do sth,hold a competition/meeting, be going to,prepare for sth,prepare...for... sentences: My favorite subject is.../What are your plans for... /What are you going to do... /Shall we do...
Step 7: Homework Finish activity 6 and make up a dialogue. Remember the important points of the summary part.
