单元主题 意义 本单元主题为Chores (家务）。本单元的功能话题是围绕经常做的家务来展开，介绍在家经常做的家务活以及了解现代新科技的迅猛发展给我们的生活带来的便利。这时一个贴近学生生活的话题，内容有趣不陌生，能够吸引学生的兴趣。通过创设情境，让学生能够体会父母的辛苦，懂得关心他人。
教学内容分析 1.来源&内容： 本单元来自人教版（新起点）五年级上册第六个单元，本单元的话题Chores，进行有关家务的交流，谈论过程中正确运用句型What chores do you usually do at home, Bob 进行提问并正确作答。本单元还设置了字母组合ch，tch, sh的发音规律的环节，并能够根据发音规律听音写出相应的单词。基于对教材的理解和对学生的学情分析，从单元整体教学思想的角度，从语义理解、语用功能的实现以及情感的推进来设计教学内容和过程。 2. 纵向知识关联： 功能：表达，介绍。 话题：家务劳动。 语言知识： 3BUnit 5 Family Activitieswater the dogs, clean the room, walk the dog…4AUnit 1 Sports and GamesWhat sports do you often do…
3. 横向知识关联： 在三年级上册，学生已经学过一些有关家庭活动相关的词汇, 如：water the dogs, clean the room, walk the dog…，四年级上册已经接触了一般现在时态的疑问句及答语，并能够用简单的句子讨论有关的内容。因此教师要帮助学生将所学知识进行温故知新的指导，使得学生能结合本单元的内容来进行语言运用，提高思维和表达的能力。 4. 单元探究设计：
学情分析 1.年龄特征： 本单元的教授对象为五年级的学生，对于五年级学生来说，他们有一定的英语知识基础。学生对英语课都比较喜欢，上课时能专心听讲，积极发言。他们的英语知识储备深厚而扎实，也具有一定的自主学习能力。 2.知识储备： 之前的学习中他们已经积累了一些词汇和交际句型，如相关家务的相关词汇，water the dogs, clean the room, walk the dog…等。对于一般现在进行石头的相关问答已经进行过学习。本单元继续围绕家务劳动为话题来展开，对学生来说既有趣又简单。
3.能力水平： 五年级的学生已具备能够正确听说的能力，模仿能力也相对低年级来说有水平有所提高。
单元目标 在本单元教学结束之际，学生能： 1. 能听、说、读、写核心词汇chore, clean the room, make the bed, take out the rubbish, wash clothes, tidy the desk, sweep the floor. 2. 能够听懂、会说询问他人常做什么家务的功能句: When do you usually watch ... 及其答语: I usually ...初步学会在恰当的情境中口头运用它们，并能根据问句写出答语。 3. 能够借助图片和其他阅读策略读懂Fun Time的基本信息，并仿照示范进行小 制作。 4. 能读懂故事Story time，并能复述和表演故事情节。 5. 能能够仿照阅读文本，用几句连贯的话介绍自己喜爱的电视节目。 6. 能够借助熟悉的旧单词和图片感知辅音字母组合ch, tch和sh的发音规律，并 利用该规律拼出新单词的读音，进而尝试记住其写法。 7. 通过实践训练学生表达英语的能力，增强学生的英语语感，为学后的语言学习打下坚实的基础。
第一课时教学设计
一、语篇研读
What: 该语篇为一篇对话文本，标题为Helping parents do chores.主要内容Binbin邀请好朋友Lily, Bill, Andy一起玩但是他们的都要帮助家长做家务，主要围绕do chores为话题展开。
Why: 教学的最终目标谈论做家务的话题，运用已学功能句操练本课新学词汇, 简单的描述在家经常做的家务劳动，并进行评价或提出自己的想法意见。
How: 语篇是一篇日常口语对话，对话涉及常用词汇: chore, clean the room, make the bed , take out the rubbish, wash clothes , tidy the desk, sweep the floor提问对方常做的家务的句型及答语: —What chores do you usually do at home —I usually ...
二、教学目标
通过本课学习，学生能够：
1.能正确听，读词汇chore, clean the room, make the bed , take out the rubbish, wash clothes , tidy the desk, sweep the floor.
