一、教学目标 1. 语言知识目标 -Students can correctly understand and use words and phrases related to spring weather and activities, such as: temperature,blossom,neither...nor..., rise, etc. -Students are able to master the sentence patterns describing the weather and people's activities in the spring. 2. 语言技能目标 -Ability to understand descriptions of spring and get key information. -Ability to read the text fluently, with correct pronunciation and intonation. -Able to describe the spring weather and people's activities in English. 3. 情感态度目标 -Cultivate students' love for nature and a positive attitude towards life. -Students are encouraged to actively participate in outdoor activities and enjoy the beauty of spring. 二、教学重难点 1. 重点 -Master the usage of key words and phrases, such as: temperature,blossom,neither...nor..., rise, etc. -Understand the text, and be able to repeat the weather changes and people's activities in spring. 2. 难点 -Proper use of general present and present times to describe the scenes and activities of spring. -Cultivate students' comprehensive language use ability, and be able to communicate and discuss about spring in English. 三、教学方法 1. 情景教学法:通过创设春天的情景,让学生在真实的语境中学习和运用语言。 2. 任务驱动法:设计各种任务,如阅读理解、填空、讨论等,让学生在完成任务的过程中提高语言能力。 3. 互动教学法:通过师生互动、生生互动,激发学生的学习兴趣,提高课堂参与度。 四、教学过程 (一)导入(5 分钟) 1. 师生问候后,教师展示一些春天的图片,包括盛开的花朵、绿草、温暖的阳光等,问学生:“What season do you think it is ”引导学生回答:“Spring.” 2. 教师提问:“What do you know about spring ”让学生自由发言,分享他们对春天的了解。 3. 教师接着问:“Which season is your favourite ”引导学生说出自己喜欢的季节及原因。 (二)新课呈现(20 分钟) 1. 教师说:“Today, let’s learn about spring together. Let’s read a letter from Wang Mei to Jenny.” 然后教师播放课文录音,让学生边听边理解大意。 2. 教师提出问题:“What’s the weather like in Shijiazhuang in spring ” 学生阅读课文后回答:“The temperature was 10°C this morning. This afternoon, it reached 15°C. It was quite warm and the air was fresh.” 教师讲解重点词汇 temperature, reach 的用法,并让学生模仿造句。 3. 教师问:“What did Wang Mei see on her way to school ” 学生回答:“She saw some winter jasmine blossoming.” 教师讲解 blossom 的意思及用法,并展示更多花朵绽放的图片,让学生用 blossom 进行描述。 4. 教师提问:“What do people do in the park in spring ” 学生阅读课文后回答:“Some practice Tai Chi. Others sing and dance. Children run around or play on the swings.” 教师讲解 practice 的用法,让学生用 practice doing sth. 结构造句。 5. 教师问:“What are Wang Mei’s class planning to do ” 学生回答:“They are planning a field trip to the countryside. They will plant trees, enjoy the beautiful flowers and play games.” 教师讲解 plant 的用法,并让学生说说自己在春天想要种什么。 (三)练习巩固(10 分钟) 1. 教师让学生完成 Let’s Do It! 中的练习 1,判断句子的正误。学生做完后,教师核对答案,并讲解错误的原因。 1. - F (The temperature reached 15°C this afternoon.) 2. - F (Wang Mei needs neither her heavy winter coat nor her boots now.) 3. - F (Wang Mei saw some winter jasmine on her way to school.) 4. - T 2. 教师让学生完成 Let’s Do It! 中的练习 2,勾出文中提到的场景。学生做完后,教师核对答案,并让学生用文中的句子进行描述。 - The weather is warm. - The air is fresh. - The flowers blossom. - The days get longer. - The sun rises earlier. 3. 教师让学生完成 Let’s Do It! 中的练习 3,用所给单词的正确形式填空。学生做完后,教师核对答案,并讲解每个单词的用法。 1. - reached (reach 表示“到达”,根据从句中的“it was dark”可知用过去式。) 2. - practice (like to do sth. 表示“喜欢做某事”,practice doing sth. 表示“练习做某事”。) 3. - enjoy (enjoy doing sth. 表示“喜欢做某事”。) 4. - rises (the sun 是第三人称单数,rise 要用第三人称单数形式。) 5. - plant (to do sth. 表示“去做某事”,plant trees 表示“种树”。) (四)拓展与运用(5 分钟) 1. 教师组织学生进行小组讨论,话题为“Talk about spring and outdoor activities. You can use the sentences in Activities 2 and 3.” 每个小组推选一名代表进行发言,分享小组讨论的结果。 2. 教师让学生根据自己的讨论内容,写一篇关于春天的短文,描述春天的天气、景色和人们的活动。 (五)总结与作业布置(5 分钟) 1. 教师与学生一起回顾本节课所学的重点内容,包括词汇、短语和句型。 2. 布置作业: - 背诵课文。 - 用英语写一篇关于自己喜欢的季节的短文,不少于 80 个单词。 五、教学反思 通过本节课的教学,学生对春天的天气和活动有了更深入的了解,掌握了相关的词汇和句型。在教学过程中,应注重引导学生自主思考和合作学习,提高学生的语言运用能力和思维能力。同时,要给学生更多的机会进行口语表达和书面表达,以巩固所学知识。
