Module 1How to learn English
Unit 1Let's try to speak English as much as possible.
教学目标
Words and phrases：能准确地读和使用pair，correct，spelling，word，practise，look up等词汇。
Important sentences：能够掌握表达建议的各种方式。
Grammar：能够运用所学的一般现在时、一般过去时、一般将来时和现在进行时四种时态。
Listening：熟练掌握提建议的句型结构，能够听懂并从中获取有效信息。
Speaking：通过一系列听说练习和对征求或提出建议的表达方式的学习，使学生学会理解西方人如何提建议，掌握与他人交流时语言的得体性。
Reading：能读懂有关文章，明白文章主旨，理解文章结构。
Writing：能够运用各种时态和表达建议的句式进行书面写作。
教学内容
1．掌握本单元的单词和短语：pair，corrcct，spelling，word，practise, match, meaning, complete, sentence,dictionary,gram-mar,letter,look up,mistake, make a mistake, understand,advice.should,possible,write down,notebook,forget,pronounce,aloud,radio,pronunciation,key,main,excellent,agree,agree with sb.
2．掌握和运用本单元的重点句型：
(1)We should always speak English in class.
(2)Let's try to speak English as much as possible.
(3)Why not write down our mistakes in our notebooks
(4)It's a good idea to spell and pronounce new words aloud every day.
(5)How about listening to the radio
3．熟练掌握 We／You should／shouldn＇t．．．，Let＇s try to．．．，Why not...？ It＇s a good idea to...，How about...？，等表达建议的句型结构，并懂得在什么样的场合使用它们。
重点难点
1．本单元单词和短语：pair，correct，spelling，word，practise．．．
2．提建议的句型：
（1）What about／How about＋v．-ing？（······怎么样？）
（2）Let＇s＋动词原形．（让我们······）

Step 1 Warming up & Revision
T:Hello,boys and girls. I'm very glad to meet you! Today is our first lesson. I believe everyone thinks English is difficult,don't you So this class we are going to learn Module 1 Unit 1.Let's try to speak English as much as possible. Would you like to learn it

Ss：Yes！（让几个学生起立自由回答，教师把学生的答案写在黑板上。）
设计意图：此环节通过师生互动导入本单元话题，渲染课堂气氛，激发学生的学习兴趣，消除学生的紧张感。为接下来“怎样学习英语”话题做准备。
Step 2 Pre-listening
1. Teach words and phrases and practise the sentence pat-terns.
教师根据刚才学生所说的“怎样学习英语”写下学生不会的表达方式，然后教师出示本单元单词的图片，进行单词、短语、句型的学习。在这个环节，学生学习单词与短语：pair，correct，spelling,word, practise, match, meaning, complete, sentence,dic-tionary,grammar,letter,look up,mistake,make a mistake, under-stand,advice,should,possible,write down,notebook,forget,pro-nounce,aloud, radio, pronunciation,key, main, excellent,agree,agree with sb.等。在学习词汇的过程中，通过师生对话操练How do you learn English /How about... /I should.../It's a good idea to...／Why not...？等句型。

设计意图：通过此环节，引入单词-短语-句型操练，学习过程从单词到短语，从短语到句子，通过教师领读，学生跟读学习单词、词组与句型。在不知不觉中初步感知句型教学，从浅到深，从易到难，层层递进。尊重语言学习的规律，也符合学生的认知规律。

教师把全班分为8个小组进行比赛，教师通过屏幕展示更多生动有趣的图片。要求学生做结对练习操练句型，每说出一种学习英语的方法就可获得一颗星，说出方法最多的组为获胜组！

设计意图：通过竞赛游戏的方式充分调动学生主动参与的意识，增加了学生语言学习的乐趣，使学生在操练中潜移默化地感知表达建议的方法和练习运用本单元的单词和短语。调动学生的多种感官体验，突破本课教学重难点。
Step 3 While-listening
1.Listen and answer the questions. Use the words and ex-pressions in the box.
教师播放录音，学生做活动2，听录音，回答问题，听完全班核对答案。
T:Daming and Lingling meet some difficulties when they learn English. They are asking Ms James for help now. What are they talking about Please open your books and turn to Page 2,Exercise 2.I will give you 60 seconds to read the questions and guess the meanings of them. (Sixty seconds later) Now,let's lis-ten carefully and answer the questions.

设计意图：本活动要求学生集中注意力听三个短对话，准确捕捉问题答案，进一步熟悉与话题相关的信息，加深对语法的感性认识。同时，培养学生的听力预判能力。
Step 4 Post-listening
1.Listen and read after the video.
教师播放对话视频，播放一句，暂停一次，学生观看视频并跟读对话。

设计意图：通过学生观看生动活泼的对话视频并跟读、模仿，能增强学生的语感，提高对英语语音、语调的感悟力和用正确语音、语调进行口语输出的能力。
2. Work in groups of 8 to deal with the key words,phrases and sentences.
学生通过合作探究找出大屏幕上出现的知识点。
T:This time,it's your own reading time.Please read and find the language points on the screen in your groups and after that we will come to the“Question Time".
The key words,phrases and sentences:
（1）Why not write down our mistakes in our notebooks？为什么不把我们的错误写在笔记本上？
Why not...？用来表示提出某种建议，而不是询问为什么不做某事的原因，相当于Why don＇t you...？
【注】此知识点是英语考试的必考之处，也是中考常考的一个重要知识点。
（2）How about listening to the radio？ 听收音机怎么样？
What／How about 后加动词-ing形式，用来表示提出某种建议，含义是“做······怎么样？”。
（3）write down或者 put down表示“记下，写下”。
（4）agree with sb．表示“同意某人的意见、想法、解释”等。（对象是人或人的观点）
【拓展】agree to＋v.（原），表示同意做某事。
agree on sth.表示在某事上取得“一致意见”。
（5）as much as possible 表示“尽可能多”。
设计意图：学生应是学习的主体，教师要努力调动学生学习的积极性和主动性，通过组内合作讨论、探究，找出对话中的关键知识点。
3. Choose an excellent student to be a teacher to teach and control the"Question Tirne".
让一位学生自愿到讲台前代替自己充当教师的角色，领读、提问屏幕上的知识点，让学生学习知识点。（学生所在的小组加2颗星）

设计意图：此活动在任务的设计上加大了一定的难度，让学生充当老师，以适应优秀生的要求，使学生成为课堂真正的主人，学生教学生，学生可以更加集中注意力，引入小组竞争，学生积极性更高。

5.Challenge your memory.
教师给学生最后一次看课文的机会，要求学生尽可能地记忆课文中的内容，迎接记忆大挑战，完成第3页活动3和活动4。

学生做第3页活动4，做完以小组竞答形式核对答案。
设计意图：通过挑战记忆力的方式，激发学生的竞争意识和挑战意识。在巩固对话的重点词汇和句型、培养学生听说能力的同时，兼顾读写能力的培养。最终达到综合语言运用能力，为接下来的语言输出做准备。
Step 5 Group work
教师把全班分为6组，小组之间有一人提出学习英语的遇到同学表演一下，给大家做个示范，教师纠正他们出现的错误，然后让其他同学模仿他们，最后小组代表到前面利用投影仪边说边展示他们学习英语的方法。根据表演程度加星。这样掌握知识深刻，不易忘记，达到了教学的目的。

设计意图：此环节通过小组合作形式，操练、运用本节课表达建议的句型，说出学习英语的方法。为学生创建了成果展示的平台，并将本课所学知识点升华为贴近学生实际生活的语言交际。在教学的过程中极大地激发了学生的兴趣。
Step 6 Consolidation & Extension
Pronunciation and speaking
Play the recording again and ask the students to listen and mark the intonation.
教师给学生放录音，让学生注意语音、语调。

陈述句和特殊疑问句用降调，一般疑问句用升调，此处不列入考试范围，所以不必细讲，只需点到为止。
