教材（语篇）分析： 【what】 本课时是该单元的第二个课时，是一个阅读板块。 【why】 阅读材料是关于电影喜好的。 【how】 3a要求学生阅读文章，画出不同种类的电影并圈出电影的名字。活动3b要求学生根据课文内容回答问题，主要引导学生关注文章的细节。活动3c不同心境时喜欢的电影类型并举例，然后填写表格，为Section b 的学习提供信息储备。
学情分析： 自然情况 到了九年级，学生已经积累了大量的阅读经验，相信学生对这篇简短的文章不会有太大的理解障碍。 （二）已有基础 学生们对本节课的学习会有较高的兴趣，加之学习内容难度不大，学生有较强的表达欲望和诉求，参与活动的积极性和学习的高效性也相应的提高了。 （三）存在问题
学生的阅读能力存在差异。 （四）解决措施 老师要重点关注学习中下等的学生。
教学目标： 通过本课学习，学生能够： 学生能学会本节课重点单词：stick to ,down , dialog /diaglgue,ending ,drama ,plenty of , shut off , superhero , once in a while 。 （学习理解） 学生能通过阅读任务获得阅读信息，从而理解整篇文章。 （应用实践） 学生能用开放性的语言，充分表达自己不同心境时对于不同类型电影的喜好。 （迁移创新）
教学重难点 重点： 学会用that , which 和who引导的定语从句完善地表达自己对音乐和电影等的喜好。 难点：理解定语从句于先行词之间的修饰关系，运用开放性语言和同伴进行交流。
学习活动设计 教师活动学生活动环节一：Activity 1 教师活动1 Lead-in Before reading :Show some music . Ask students what kind of music they like . And then movies . Teach some new words . documentary , comedy , drama ... 学生活动1 Guess and discuss 活动意图说明： 读前播放一些音乐，让学生直观感受，以及不同类型的影片，能深刻理解部分单词的意义，同时能激发学生学习本课的兴趣，为下一步的阅读做好准备。 环节二：Activity 2 教师活动2 Ask students to read 3a quickly and then answer this question :What’s happening in the town . 学生活动2 Discuss the questions 活动意图说明： 从Step 1的各种怪声引入3a，让学生回答问题是为下一步学生选择文本标题作好准备。 环节三：Activity 3 教的活动3 While reading T: What kind of movies are mentioned in 3a Please underline them and circle the movies names . Check the answers with students. 学的活动3 Discuss and answer the questions . 活动意图说明： 学生刚刚观看并了解了影片的类型，在第一步的阅读中得到了复习和运用。 环节四：Activity 4 教的活动4 Detail task Ask students to read the passage carefully and answer the questions . Ask students retell the passage according to the chart . 学的活动4 Ask and answer Discuss 学的活动3 1. Ss observe the images and understand the situation. 2. Ss complete the questions and answers using past future tense. 活动意图说明： 训练学生有效获取阅读信息的能力，然后由浅入深，层层推进，通过获取文章的具体细节内容，根据复述检验对课文的掌握程度，也是一种语言的输出。 环节五：Activity 5 教的活动5 After reading Ask students to find all the attributive clauses in the passage , try to understand the meanings and red the sentences aloud . 学的活动 Finish the task 活动意图说明： 进一步让学生理解文本内容，同时训练学生的语言输出能力。 环节六：Activity 6 教的活动6 Work on 3c Let students talk about the kind of movies they like in pairs , and then fill in the chart .l Express according to the chart , trying to use the drills in 3a . 学的活动6 Finish 3c. 活动意图说明： 用从文章中学到的一些语言，并加以想象发挥，充分地理解并运用定语从句表达对于电影的喜好。 环节七：Activity 7 教的活动7 Work on 4a&4b T: What kind of food /clothes /people /..do you like S: I like food /clothes /people /...that is /are .. Students try to make their won sentences according to the topics of food /clothes/ people .. Students read 4b , and then finish own sentences using the attributive clauses . Check the answers . 学的活动7 Ask and answer Check the answers 活动意图说明： 学生由前面Section A 中他谈论的音乐、音乐家、电影、延申到了对于食物、衣服、人等的喜好，由点面地展开，可以更加自如地运用所学语言进行表达。

教学反思与改进 本节课的设计体现了任务教学的设计理念，整个任务链均围绕着作者在不同心境下喜欢看的电影展开。本课内容激起了学生的好奇心和兴趣，让学生不知不觉进入了课文所设置的场景。本课不仅内容上吸引人，在语法上还重点学习了定语从句先行词、关系词以及定语从句与先行词的关系，使学生受益匪浅。
