seem好像,似乎,看来,是连系动词,可以接形容词。
常用的句型:1）主语 + seem + (to be) +表语;
2）It seems + that从句;
3）主语 + seem + 不定式。
e.g. Tom seems (to be) a very clever boy.
汤姆看上去是一个非常聪明的男孩。
It seems that he is happy today. 今天他似乎很高兴。
Tom seems to know our city very well.
汤姆好像很熟悉我们的城市。

whenever conj. 在任何时候; 无论何时。
(1) whenever 引导让步状语从句相当于no matter when。
(2) whenever意为“究竟何时”,相当于when on earth。
e.g. Whenever/No matter when we met with difficulties, they came to help us.
