本节知识点讲解 【知识点讲解一】 1. What's today 【解析】本句是特殊疑问句。它既询问 也询问 ，答语是“It's＋星期＋日期”。 e.g. —What's today？ 　　—It's Sunday, the 24th. 【拓展】①What day is it today？ 询问 ，答语是“It's＋星期”。 e.g. —What day is it today？ 　　 —It's Sunday. ②What's the date today？ 询问 ，答语是“It's＋日期”。 e.g. —What's the date today？ 　　—It's October 1st. 2. look after his sister 照看他的妹妹 【解析】look after 照料；照顾 同义词是take care of，后可接名词、代词、动词ing形式。 e.g. Can you look after/take care of my dog 【拓展】 look after well＝take good care of 好好照看 e.g. He can look after himself well. ＝ He can take good care of himself. 　look at 看…… e.g. Please look at the picture. 　look like 看起来像…… e.g. What does the man look like？ 　look for 寻找 e.g. I'm looking for my eraser. 【例题解析】 1．We often go to school on ________ and relax on ________. 【知识点讲解二】 3. I’m sad to see her go, and this party is the best way to say “Thank you and goodbye.” 【解析】（1）sad 形容词，意为“（令人）悲哀的；（令人）难过的” sadness 名词，意为“悲伤；悲痛” （2）see sb. do sth.表示“看到某人做某事” e.g. I often see the boy play soccer in the park. 【辨析】see sb. doing sth和see sb. do sth. see sb. doing sth I see her cleaning the classroom. see sb. do sth. I often see him draw a picture.
4. My family is taking a trip to Wuhan at the end of this month to visit my aunt and uncle. 【解析】（1）本句是简单句，to visit my aunt and uncle是动词不定式作 。 take a trip 去旅行，也可用take trips。 　　 take a trip to... 去……旅行 e.g. My friend is taking a trip to Russia. at the end of意为“在···的末尾；在···尽头”，可以表示地点，也可以表示时间。 e.g. You can see a bookstore at the end of the road. At the end of the month, we’ll have an exam. 【拓展】in the end意为“最后；终于”，常在句中作状语。 e.g. He found the bag in the end. 5.
