01My trip to Chengdu
I arrived in Chengdu this morning with my parents. It was sunny and warm, so we decided to go for a walk near our hotel.
We saw many pretty buildings and lots of good restaurants. For lunch, we had hot pot. It was very spicy but delicious. I love Sichuan food! In the afternoon, we went to see pandas in the zoo. Pandas are my favorite animals because they’re so cute. I was happy to know people are trying their best to save this endangered animals. In the evening, we went shopping along Chunxi Road and bought many things.
I really enjoyed the trip.
02My trip to Beijing
This summer, I had an enjoyable vacation.
I went to Beijing with my friends on vacation. We stayed there for three days and had a good time. The weather was very hot. We visited Tian’anmen, we went to the Palace Museum(故宫) and Beijing Hutongs during our trip. We also took many photos and tasted something delicious like Beijing Duck. I bought something special for my family, too. Beijing is a wonderful place. It has a long history, but I could also see something new there.
I enjoyed my trip very much .
Unit 2 My daily habits
I have some daily habits, some are good, but some are bad.
I like reading very much because I can get a lot of knowledge from reading（从阅读获取很多知识） every day. Reading can open up our eyes and know what is happening all over the world(打开眼界而且了解全世界发生了什么).
However, I also have some bad habits, too. For example, I always spend too much time on computer games and do my homework slowly（花费太多时间而且做作业慢）. Sometimes I stay up late because of homework. My mom said we should sleep at least 8 hours every night to keep healthy（每晚睡8小时保持健康）. I think I should give up the bad habits to be more healthy（改掉坏习惯保持健康）.

Unit 3 My best friend
Nancy is my best friend. In some ways（在某些方面）, we are different, and in some ways, we are the same.
Nancy is a lot taller and more outgoing than me. She is better at singing and dancing. She likes going to the concert. For me, I like surfing the Internet（上网）. And I love traveling. But both of us like sports. We are both hardworking and do well in(擅长于) all subjects. We both like reading, and we usually go to the library on weekends.
In fact, I don’t really care if my friends are the same as me or different from me.
Unit 4 My favorite place
There are many good places in our school, such as the playground, the library and the computer room. But for me, the library is the best place.
First, it's quieter than any other place（比任何其他地方都安静）. I can relax there when I feel tired or unhappy. 01My favorite TV show
There are four people in my family. We like different kinds of TV shows.
My father likes the news. He thinks you can find out what's going on around the world. My mother enjoys soap operas in her free time. and My sister is the youngest in our family, she loves cartoons best because they are interesting and funny. As for me, I love talk shows, I can learn a lot from them. And about news, I think they are boring but educational. I don't like soap operas at all. I think they are so meaningless and it is a waste of time.
02My favorite movie（狮子王）
The lion king is the most popular English movie in the world. The movie is about a young lion, Simba. He was the prince of the forest. But his uncle wanted to be the king. So he killed Simba's father. When Simba grew up, he came back to the forest and had a big fight with his uncle. At last, Simba won and became the rightful king.
I like the movie very much because I can learn a lot from it. It tells me to be a kind and brave person to fight with the forces of the evil. If you like movies, go and watch it. You will love it.

01My Dream Job
Different people have different dream jobs. Let me tell you something about my dream job.
I want to be a school teacher when I grow up. One of the main reasons is that（主要的原因之一是） I like being with children and sharing my ideas with others（喜欢和孩子们呆在一起而且跟其他人分享想法）. Changes make us better people（改变是我们成为更好的人）. I am an outgoing girl. I like to make friends and I'm always ready to help them. But I'm poor in my lessons. In my spare time, I spend too much time on computer games. So I don't get good grades, which makes my parents sad.
