I think it is important to show Blake some differences between Guangzhou and his hometown. For example, Guangzhou is a big city and sometimes noisy while his hometown is usually quiet. It’s also very hot in summer in Guangzhou. What’s more, he may feel lonely sometimes because we usually have just one child in a family. The food is also different.
However, we all have warm and happy family life and we come together to have dinner together during important festivals.
The exchange will be meaningful because it may make him realize the importance of his own family more or make him more understanding.
