woman（n. 女人）——复数：women
kilo（n. 千克，公斤）——复数：kilos

四. 重点句型
询问生日句型: When is your birthday

询问价格句型:
单数句型：How much is +单数名词/不可数名词？

语调
英语的语调就是说话时调门的上升或下降、声音的高亢或低沉。语调影响说话人所要表达的意图，可以表达说话人的态度、感情和情绪。英语有两种基本的语调，即降调和升调。语调一般体现在句子最后一个重读单词的重读音节上。
降调的基本意义就是“确定”和“完结”，常用于陈述句、特殊疑问句等句型中。
例：When is your birthday
It's on 2nd August.
升调的基本意义是“不确定”和“未完结”，通常用于一般疑问句等句型中。
例：Can I help you

Dear Tom,
Thanks for your email. How are you You ask me how I celebrate my birthday. Now let me tell you.
My birthday is on 13th May. Before my birthday, my father, mother and I usually go to a supermarket(超市) to buy food, fruits and drinks. On my birthday, my mother cook birthday noodles and make a big birthday cake for me. At night, we have a big dinner together. My family give me birthday gifts. Everyone sings the “Happy Birthday” song, and then I make a wish and blow out the candles. Next, we enjoy the cake and I open my gifts. We also take some photos because the photos can help us remember fun times with my family.
I have a happy birthday every year. How do you celebrate your birthday.
