Dear Daniel,
We' re throwing a party for your birthday at two o’clock this Sunday afternoon. But I am here to express my sincerest apologies for not being able to attend it.
You are such an incredible teacher, and I have eagerly intended to participate in the party. However, as scheduled, there will be a science competition on Sunday afternoon. This competition is of such significance to me that I don’t want to miss out on it.
Once again, I apologize for not being able to make it. Wish you a fantastic birthday filled with love, laughter, and wonderful memories!

Kristy looked shocked at my kind words. She hadn't expected that I would make such kind comments about her when she was so cruel to me. For a moment, she just stood there frozen, not knowing what to say. Then she asked with a weak smile, “Why are you being so nice to me, Ann " I responded, “Well，because I like you and I want you to be my friend." It seemed she was touched by my kindness. With a guilty look on her face, she said softly, “Ann, I think maybe you're the right person I can make friends with.”
So our friendship started on that very day. During the days that followed, we had much good time. In art class, we sat together, appreciating each other's drawings and giving advice. On holidays, we travelled together to the country where we practised drawing landscapes from nature. We thoroughly enjoyed our friendship. Now I completely understand "Kind words are short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless,” just as Mother Teresa once said.
