Nowadays the film industry is keen on turning good books into movies. Some people worry that great words always end up as cinematic “turkeys” while I believe it would be better to move literary works to the big screen.
Initially, movies make a platform for us to enjoy a visual and auditory experience. This is something that even the highly successful science fiction The Three-body Problem can benefit from, with fans of the book surprised to see the scene in their imagination on the big screen. Besides, movies can reach a wider audience and in turn（相应地）engage more people in the fancy literary world. One of the key reasons behind this is that while reading requires a certain level of education and literacy, watching movies is a more accessible form of entertainment.
Although not every adapted movie can live up to public expectation, movies can be an additional source that enriches our cultural experience.

Recently, I embarked on an incredibly memorable journey to （踏上去...的旅途）Yunnan with my family. I can’t wait to share my experience with you.
We were amazed by the breathtaking scenery--the mountains and valleys took our breath away. Meanwhile, the local food was delicious such as Cross-Bridge Rice Noodles. What’s more, trying to talk with locals in their language was full of both challenge and fun. However, not everything went smoothly. We encountered some travel problems and language barriers, but with the help of some friendly locals, we managed to get through. This blend（混合）of experiences really cheered us up, making our emotions a rollercoaster of highs and lows.
Nothing beats being there in person（没有什么比亲身体验更棒了）.
I can say with certainty that Yunnan was worth visiting, which truly broadened my horizon. The dramatic landscape lining our route（沿途中的风景）, with its snowy peaks（山顶）and green valleys, was like stepping into a breathtaking painting.

Initially, located in the peaceful countryside, my hometown is loved for its natural beauty and pleasant climate. This strong sense of community taught me the values of unity（团结）, compassion（同情）and support. Increasing garbage is temporarily stored in the landfills, leading to even more environmental issues. It consumes more energy for waste transport（废物运输）and also causes extra pollution to lands. Knowing the truth is vital for change. Hence, it's crucial to adopt a sustainable way of garbage disposal （垃圾处理）. We can devote ourselves to developing emerging technologies to break down the waste, without any harm to the environment. With the wide application of various digital devices, the Internet gradually becomes an irreplaceable role in our daily life. However, along with its advantages come many problems, among which Internet addiction is becoming increasingly severe, thus raising our concerns.
Initially, Internet addiction is likely to cause damage physically and psychologically. Young addicts whose eyes are glued to screens too much may lead to their eyesight failing. Furthermore, some of them tend to get lost in the virtual world and entirely ignore the real one, which may damage their relationships with their parents and friends. Last but not least, as for students, their academic performance may suffer a dramatic drop as a consequence of heavy addiction.
Given the current severe situation, I strongly appeal to every student to use the Internet properly and responsibly. It not only is an effective way for us to relax, but also broadens our horizons.
