Do you like the homework of making a meal Primary and middle school students are required to take the Practical Activity Class (实践活动课)at least one hour every week.
Some schools and students practice their practical activities. Gu Quan, 13 years old, from No. 18 Middle School, used to be a lazy boy. In his own words, he hardly ever did any housework. Help out with making dinner. You may not cook a big dinner, but you can try to make a simple lunch.
Organize a “Mom’s Day Off”. Choose a day to do all chores with your dad and your sister or brother. Let your mom enjoy a relaxing day.
Be active. Ask your mom what you can help with. She probably has advice on things you can do for her. If she asks for your help, don’t refuse. She wouldn’t ask if she didn’t need your help. Do not wait until she tells or asks you to do something. Always help your mom, and she will be very happy.

Teens will finally grow up some day, leaving their parents and facing the challenge in life alone, so they should learn basic life skills and form good working habits.
The government has been trying to pay attention to the importance of labor education. But people have overlooked it in recent years. Many teens do not value the importance of working hard. There is a teenage girl named Nancy who never helps out around the house. Once her mother was on a business trip for a week, leaving her alone at home. When her mother came back home, she could not find a clean dish or a clean T-shirt.
Schools play an important role in teaching students about the value of working hard. Primary and middle schools should provide students with labor courses every week. To our joy, some schools have provided each class with a piece of field to plant their favorite vegetables. For example, No. 38 Middle School in Hefei, set up a 500-square-meter farm on an open platform (露台)of their teaching building. Each class is asked to grow and pick vegetables there.
Parents should also encourage children to learn how to do chores at home. Teens should master one or two life skills every year. These skills can include cooking, washing their own clothes and tidying their rooms. The basic skills may help teens to solve the problems they will meet in the future.
( )66. What does the underlined word “overlooked” mean in the passage

D. To show Nancy’s parents don’t want her to help with chores at home.

C. Kids in primary schools need to have labor courses.
D. The government never pays attention to labor education.
( )69. What is the best title of the passage
A. Advice on family education
B. Students need a field for vegetables
C. Labor education plays a key role
D. School education is more important than family education
E
Don’t let your kids drag their feet over doing chores. Help them to make the boring chores enjoyable.
Work as a team. A simple and great way to make cleaning great fun is to do it together. If everyone shares a part, it will be much easier. Play some games while you are doing chores. You can also compete with each other to do the cleaning faster.
Turn “kitchen time” into a party. Let one child be a cook and another be a DJ. The cook chooses what to make for dinner. The DJ chooses to play some music. Everyone can dance in the kitchen while preparing dinner or cleaning up the kitchen.
Give some prizes. One of my friends was trying to get her kids to help out around the house, and someone advised her to give the kids some things like candies or toys as rewards. The advice worked like magic. But remember not to keep the kids doing the same chores all the time. Because kids will be bored.
Doing housework is an important life skill. Children should take part in almost all the chores. They will feel happier when they do something for the family. And it can help them understand the idea of studying hard better. At the same time, they can learn a lot from doing housework. It can help them live a better life in the future.
( )70. How do you make “kitchen time” into a party
A. By dancing to music in the kitchen.
B. By giving the kids some candies.
C. By inviting grandparents to come.
D. By cooking lots of different food.

D. Doing housework is good for children.

Many people believe that housework is just women’s work. Even some women share the same opinion. However, Hajer Sharief, a well-known human rights activist (人权活动家)in Libya, doesn’t think so. She strongly believes that housework should be a shared responsibility (共同责任). Even when she was a little girl, she gave voice to it.
Hajer grew up as the only girl in her family. When she was 13, she felt sad and angry that she was the only one to do the dishes in her family at home. She brought it up in a family meeting. However, her two brothers didn’t think it was a problem because none of the other boys they knew were doing the dishes. Seeing no solution to her problem, Hajer suggested in another family meeting that instead of one person doing all the dishes, each family member should do their own dishes. As a peace offering, Hajer said she’d wash the pots as well. Everyone in her family agreed. The problem was solved.
The idea was not to do the same thing as little Hajer did. Instead, we need to think of it as a way to take control. If you think that there is anything unfair, it’s OK to feel sad and angry, but don’t let it control you. Use your power, knowledge and technique (技巧)to understand others and communicate with them. Then things may work out in your favor.
