Show me another.我不喜欢这个,给我看看另一个好吗?【拓展】有时another可以用在复数名词前译为“再、又”。e.g. You may stay for another ten days.你可以再住十天。(2)other 指“别的,其他的”。① the other表示两个中的一个,常与one连用。构成one…the other…一个...另一个...e.g. I have two pencils;one is red;(and) the other is blue.我有两支铅笔,一支是红的,另一支是蓝的。There are only two books left. But I don't like this one. Will you please show me the other?只剩下二本书了。可我不喜欢这一本,请给我另一本好吗?(3)、other+名词=others(别的)e.g. Some are listening to the radio,others are watching TV.一些人在听广播,一些人在看电视。Some students went to the Summer Palace. Other students(=others)stayed at home last Sunday.上周日,一些同学去颐和园,一些同学(还有同学)呆在家里。(4)、the other +名词=the others,译为“其余的”,相当于the rest。e.g. There are thirty students in our class. Twenty are girls. The other students(=the others)are boys.我们班有三十个学生,二十名女孩,其余的都是男孩。5、few, a few; little, a little 的用法few和a few用于修饰可数名词,little和 a little 用于修饰不可数名词,few和little本身是含否定意思的,而a few和a little本身是含肯定意思的。e.g. There are few minutes left. Hurry up!就剩下几分钟了,快点儿!Don't worry! There are a few minutes left.别着急,还有几分钟呢。There is little time left. Hurry up!没多少时间了,快点儿!There is a little time left. Don't worry.别着急,还有时间呢My sister has a few friends. But she has few good friends.我姐姐有一些朋友, 但是她几乎没有真正的好朋友。6、复合不定代词(1)复合不定代词是由some,any,no,every和thing,body,one构成的不定代词。everything(一切事,所有的事); everyone =everybody (每个人,所有人);something(某事); someone =somebody(某/有人)anything(任何事物,无论什么事物);anyone =anybody(任何人,无论谁);nothing(没有东西,什么也没有; no one=nobody(没有人)。(2)不定代词使用时,需注意以下机点:①与some-,any-构成的复合不定代词的用法与some, any的用法相同。与any-构成的复合不定代词一般用于否定句或疑问句中,与some-构成的复合不定代词用于肯定句中。some-构成的复合不定代词也可以用于预料作肯定回答的疑问句、建议或请求的疑问句。e.g. Haven’t you got anything to do 你无事可干吗?Is anybody here 有人吗?Can you give me something to eat 你能给我一些东西吃吗?(表示请求)②不定代词若有定语修饰,该定语要置于其后。e.g. Did anyone see something good at the cinema 有人在电影院看了什么好看 的东西吗?For lunch, we had something very special — Malaysian yellow noodles.午餐,我们吃了一些非常特别的东西——马来西亚黄面条。③由some,any,no,every构成的复合不定代词作主语时,都作单数看待,其谓语动词用单数第三人称形式。e.g. Something is wrong with my watch.Well, everyone wants to win.我的手表出了点问题。好吧,每个人都想赢。Nobody knows what the future will be like.没有人知道未来会是什么样子。一、用不定代词neither, none, both, all 或either 填空。1. — How many students are absent today — _____________ .
