【洪水灾难】（2024 贵港模拟）While we were away, a flood caused by a storm hit our neighborhood and damaged our town. In our basement, we tried to pull old photo albums and school years-years' worth of memories-out of the water and piled them into bags. Actually, there was little we could save. But I noticed a pattern. I found myself shouting, now and then, "I forgot we had this!" Obviously, in a year or two, I wouldn't be able to keep track of the things lost versus the rescued items.

They'd been together for less than a year, but it had taken only a few dates to realise that they could be well matched. As the car began the winding climb toward the destination, the snow came earlier than they'd expected, but Jeremy wasn't worried. He'd driven this route a thousand times, and he knew exactly what to do. However, a truck hit them. One minute, Jeremy's car was rolling smoothly through the falling snow; the next, he found himself pinned to his seat by the wheel and he screamed　with pain. To his right he saw Molei：who was injured seriously, without motion and reaction. Jeremy fell into despair.

When leaning down to grab it, she accidentally drifted into oncoming traffic, in panic, she over-corrected and pulled the wheel sharply in the other direction. Consequently, the van rolled over three times, and Rhiannon was thrown onto the road, lying in the middle of the road and bleeding, nearly unconscious.
