The Power of Praise
Praise is significant. It possesses the power to uplift spirits and ignite motivation. It serves as a beacon of recognition, affirming efforts and instilling the confidence to aim higher.
I vividly recall a defining moment when my teacher, Miss Zhang, praised my creative writing. She remarked, “Your story is captivating, with vivid characters and settings that breathe life into your imagination.” Her heartfelt words filled me with pride, not only boosting my self-assurance but also igniting my passion for storytelling.
I hope more people embrace offering praise, as even a simple compliment can spark creativity and foster an encouraging atmosphere where everyone shines.
possible version 2
The Power Of Praise
Praise is significant. It holds immense power in boosting our confidence and motivation.
I can well remember my teacher Miss Zhang once highly praising me for my creative writing. She told me my writing is truly impressive, bringing the characters and settings to life in a truly inspiring way. Not only did she made me confident but also ignited my passion. That moment became a turning point, pushing me to explore my creativity further and pursue writing as a hobby.
Let’s not shy away from expressing appreciation for others’ achievements so that we can create an environment where everyone feels inspired to shine.
第二节
After thinking hard, Ben told his mom that he had left it home. Mom’s eyes widened in surprise. Ben begged her to go back home and fetch it. But mom refused since the contest would begin soon and she had to get prepared as a judge. Patting him on the back, mom comforted, “You’re still a very scary monster.” Ben forced out a smile, trying to hide his disappointment, but deep down he believed that without the Creepy Claw, he would just be an ordinary monster. When he almost couldn’t hold back his tears, he heard a familiar voice from behind calling his name.
As Ben turned around, he saw Kyla with the Creepy Claw in her hand. She walked up to Ben, waving the claw delightedly. Seeing that, Ben’s eyes lit up. Kyla handed the claw to him, explaining that mom called her about it and she begged Ana’ s mom to drive her back home. “But you’re missing the party,” Ben exclaimed, with a worried look coming over his face. “It’s OK. I’ll head back now.” Kyla beamed. “After all, a monster without the Creepy Claw isn’t really creepy.” Hearing what she said, Ben gave her a grateful hug. She was definitely the best sister in the world!惠州市2025届高三第三次调研考试
