Strategy 5: 独立主格结构---主语1(次要)+非谓语,主语2(主要)+谓语
The bell was ringing.(铃声响了)

合并后:The bell ringing, all the students entered the classroom.
她颤抖着手,缓缓打开了包裹。
Her hands was trembling.
She opened the parcel slowly.
合并后:Her hands trembling, she opened the parcel.
情绪描写Emotional Descriptions
介词短语(to/in/with)
“with/without+宾语”表示“有着…”“没有…”
To one’s + 名词”表示“让某人…的是” To her astonishment(让她吃惊的是)
In+名词,表示“…地” In delight(=delightedly), they entered the room, singing and dancing.
情绪adj+as sb+be动词,sb (still) do sth
Nervous as he was , David became determined to finish the race.
尽管很紧张, David 决心完成赛跑。
sb was so+adj+that … 某人如此…以至于
He was so scared that he was unable to utter a single word.
他吓得一句话也说不出来
4. adj. and adj.(并列情绪adj), 主+谓
Excited and pleased, the boys rushed to the lake, laughing and dancing.
5. 无灵主语(n+v)
用法是 主语(情感名词)+ 谓语动词(有生命的)
通常用“一阵感情/一股情绪…”因此,“a sense(可以换) of + N + V”
万能句型:
a sense/feeling/wave/ripple/flush/surge/pang of + 情感名词+ welled up in one’s heart/ washed over sb./ flooded over sb. /surged through sb./took hold of/swept over sb(其他谓语动词可以替换)
A ripple/flush/wave/surge of sadness welled up inside him.他内心涌起一股悲伤。

【忧虑(Worry)】
