ago的用法
Language points.
ago用作副词，意为“以前”，在句中不能单独使用，它的前面必须要有一个表示时间的词或词组，ago词组用于一般过去时。
ago的常用短语
two weeks ago两周以前 three years ago三年前
a few days ago几天前 a long time ago很长时间以前
There is a new gym in my school .
there be句型
Language points.
句中的there’s相当于there is. 其中there与is一起构成there be句型，表示：(某处)有某物或某人。它的基本句型为：There be(is/are) +主语(人/物)+其他.
注意：
(1)该句式中只有一个主语，主语为单数或不可数名词时，be动词用is；主语若是复数，be动词用are。There are many hills in the park.
(2)该句式中有几个并列主语，则谓语动词按就近原则处理，即与靠近be动词的第一个主语保持一致。
