如何描述某人从过去到现在的变化
句型:
Language points.
Before, 主语+was/were+形容词.
Now, 主语+am/is/are+形容词+其他.
注意:描述过去的情况使用一般过去式,描述现在的情况用一般现在时。
Before, he was fat. Now he is thin.以前他很胖,现在他很瘦。
Before, they were short. Now they are very tall.
以前他们很矮,现在他们很高。
Before, I was quiet. Now, I’m very active in class.
before的用法
Language points.
before用作副词,表示“(时间)以前,早些时候,过去”。
She was short before.从前她很矮。
before用作介词,表示“(时间)早于,先于”。
The darkest hour is before the dawn.最黑暗的时间过去就是黎明。
before用作介词,表示“(顺序,排列)在前,优于”。
You’ll have your turn before me.你将比我先轮到。
before还可用作连词,意为“在……前,不久……就”。
I hadn’t waited long before the train arrived.
我等了不久火车就来了。
How about... 的用法
Language points.
How about... 意为“……怎么样?”,是英语中的常用口语。
寒暄时用作承接上下文的转折语。

向对方提出建议或请求。
How about going out for a walk 出去散散步好吗?
询问天气或身体等情况。

注意:How about... 的同义句是What about...

Language points.
all在这里用作代词,意为“全部,全体,大家,整个”,它既可以指代单数名词,也可以指代复数名词,在句中可以做主语、宾语、同位语。例如:
All(=Everything) is ready.一切都准备好了。(作主语)
I know all of them.他们我全都认识。(作宾语)
They are all working hard.他们都在努力工作。(作同位语)
[注意]
all用作同位语时要放在be动词、助动词之后,实义动词之前。例如:
We are all students.我们都是学生.
We all want to help her.我们都想帮助她。
all用作定语时要放在定冠词the, 指示代词this, that, these, those或形容词性物主代词之前。例如:All his friends are coming this evening.
