An Unforgettable Spring Festival
This was my first time celebrating the Spring Festival in my hometown, and it was an unforgettable experience. The Spring Festival is the most important traditional festival in China, and it was amazing to experience it with my family.
Opening Activities
On the morning of the Spring Festival, we woke up early and began to decorate the house. We pasted red couplets on the doors and hung red lanterns in the yard. The air was filled with the sound of firecrackers, and the whole village was alive with excitement. I was so moved by the festive atmosphere and the joy on everyone’s faces.
Main Activities
The highlight of the Spring Festival was the family reunion dinner. We gathered around the table, enjoying a feast of delicious dishes like dumplings, fish, and hot pot. While eating, we chatted and laughed, sharing stories from the past year. After dinner, we watched the Spring Festival Gala on TV. The performances were amazing, and I was particularly impressed by the traditional dances and songs.
