(课件出示长颈鹿的另一半身体) 教师板书生词giraffe并教读。随后课件出示多只长颈鹿,教学giraffe的复数形式giraffes。 课件出示长颈鹿和鸭子的图片,教师请学生仔细观察图片并说出其中的不同:How do they look like 通过对比教学生词tall和short。 T: So we can say “The giraffes are tall. The ducks are short.” 教学生词elephant及其复数形式elephants;教学形容词short。 T: (课件出示大象的一半身体)What’s this Can you guess Ss: 大象。 T: Perfect! It’s an elephant. (课件出示大象的另一半身体) 教师板书生词elephant并教读。教师提醒学生在以元音音素开头的名词前面用不定冠词an。 随后课件出示多只大象,教学elephant的复数形式elephants。 课件出示大象和蚂蚁的图片,通过对比教学生词short。 T: What does the elephant look like Ss: The elephant is big and tall. T: Great! How about the ant Ss: It’s small. T: Yes. It’s also short. 教师板书生词short进行教学。 教学生词monkey及其复数形式monkeys。 T: (课件出示猴子的一半身体)What’s this Can you guess Ss: 猴子。 T: Right! It’s a monkey. (课件出示猴子的另一半身体) 教师板书生词monkey并教读。随后课件出示多只猴子,教学monkey的复数形式monkeys。 Words game. 课件以游戏形式出示本课时所学的生词,学生快速反应并大声读出。 Look, find and say. &Listen and sing. (1)课件出示Look, find and say部分的五幅动物图片,学生看图片并说出对应的动物名称。 (2)学习Listen and sing部分的歌曲内容。 a. 课件呈现Listen and sing板块的歌曲,教师播放音频,学生听录音并初步理解歌曲大意。 b. 学生听音频,感受歌曲韵律,边跟着节奏拍手边跟唱歌曲。 c. 教师播放歌曲视频,学生有感情有节奏地跟唱。 d. 学生分组进行对唱。 (3)课件出示Listen and sing部分图片,教师请学生上台来找出隐藏在动物园的动物,并说出对应的动物名称。 Read and answer. (1)课件出示Read and answer部分的第一、二幅图片。 T: Who are they Ss: They are Tom and Amy. T: What is Tom doing Ss: He is drawing pictures. (2)课件出示Read and answer部分的第五、六幅图片。 T: Sam is drawing pictures.What does Tom draw Ss: He draws tigers, giraffes, elephants and pandas. T: But there are some differences in these animals. Can you find them out Let’s have a look! 课件出示挖空的课文对话,教师带领学生根据图片进行课文内容的学习,同时找出Tom所画的动物与实际动物的不同之处。 Read again and write T(true) or F (false). 课件出示该部分的四个题目,学生再次阅读对话内容并完成习题。 Watch and repeat. 课件播放该部分的视频,学生听录音跟读,注意正确的语音、语调。 Role play. 学生分角色扮演课本中的人物,请几组学生上台表演,教师评价、生生互评、小组互评。 In focus. 课件出示该部分的图片及对话内容,学生读对话并总结出语法规律: (1)询问单个事物的名称: 问句:What is it 答语:It is a/an+可数名词单数. 例句:—What is it —It is a duck. (2)询问多个事物的名称: 问句:What are they 答语:They are+可数名词复数. 例句:—What are they —They are ducks. (3)Ask and answer. 课件出示转盘游戏,学生用句型“—What are they —They’re ...”进行问答。Step 3 Consolidation&Extension 通过小组活动,学生对所学单词和句型进一步巩固和记忆,同时也培养了小组的合作意识。1. Work in pairs. Ask and answer. 学生两人一组,仿照例句,对图片中的动物进行问答: A: Look at our new picture. B: What are they A: They are tigers. They are strong. 2. Work in pairs. Say and guess. 学生两人一组,其中一人描述动物的特征,另一人猜测他/她所描述的动物是什么。例如: A: They are brown and yellow. They are tall.
