第二课时(Speed up)
教学目标 能听、说、读、写本课关于动物的名词和描述动物的形容词;能运用句型“—What are they —They are ...”来问答多个事物的名称。(语言能力) 2. 培养学生热爱动物、热爱大自然的意识,懂得人与自然需要和谐共处。(文化意识) 3. 能通过对图片的观察获取信息,辅助对相关语篇意义的理解。(思维品质) 4. 学生乐于听、说英语,乐于模仿,积极参与课堂活动。 (学习能力)
教学重点 能用核心句型和词汇对动物进行描述。
教学难点 能在日常生活中熟练、灵活地运用重点句型及词汇进行交流。
教学过程 批注
Step 1 Warm-up & Revision 播放歌曲视频,学生看视频模仿动物动作,激发了学生学习英语的兴趣,活跃了课堂气氛。
1. 教师热情地和学生打招呼问好,作简单的Free talk。 2. Sing and do. 教师播放视频《Let’s go to the zoo》,学生边看视频,边做视频中动物的动作。 3. Words game. 课件随机出示上个课时学习的生词,学生快速反应并大声读出。 4. Revision. 课件随机出示学习过的动物的图片,学生用句型“—What are they —They are ...”对动物进行问答。 5. Look and say. 课件随机出示学习过的动物的图片,学生用句型“The _______ are _______.”分别描述这些动物的特征。
Step 2 Presentation & Practice 学生通过观察图片来获取关于故事角色的信息,同时结合图片来学习关于动物的生词,更利于对故事内容的把握。 教师引导学生听录音跟读课文对话,使学生能够充分理解课文内容,并且能以正确的语音、语调朗读对话。 角色扮演活动让学生对所学的知识进行输出,增强了学生的口语表达能力,增强学生的语言自信心。

Who are Tippi’s friends 课件出示故事的后三张图片,教师引导学生找出图片中的动物,学习关于动物的新词ostrich、chameleon和lion。 课件出示关于变色龙的视频,帮助学生了解更多关于变色龙的信息。 Match and say. 课件出示该部分的题目,教师先请学生阅读题目,帮助学生理解生词cute和fast的含义。 随后请学生再次阅读课文,完成课本的连线活动。 Read the story. 教师播放故事的音频,学生听音频并跟读,注意正确的语音、语调。 阅读的过程中,教师帮助学生理解生词him和them的含义。 Let’s retell. 教师依次出示故事图片及挖空的内容,师生一起复述故事内容。 I have many animal friends. Step 3 Consolidation&Extension 通过选择“动物朋友”进行介绍,将所学的知识进行整合输出,培养了学生综合运用语言的能力,增强语言在实际生活中的运用。

Foxes live in holes in the ground. Zebras have stripes. Zebras live in grassy places. Hippos live near water. Hippos have almost no hair. Polar bears live in cold places.Polar bears eat seals. There are many kinds of animals.
