课标、教参关于本课中的要求及建议 要求: 1.能够以小组为单位，在组内设计动物园地图，并撰写演讲稿对其设计理念进行准确的介绍。 2. 能够展示规划合理、清晰美观的动物园地图及合理的设计原因。 建议: 1.教师可引导学生应用以下相关句型介绍自己设计的动物园, “Here you can see …” “ These animals are …” 2.学生在展示与答辩时，能够做到表达清晰、内容详实、有真情实感、有团队协作。

教学过程 设计意图
Step 1. Lead-in Read the task card to learn about their task in this class. Step 2. Know the animals 1.Show some footprint of animals and description to help Ss recognize the animals. 2.Encourage Ss to have a brainstorming about animals in different places, such as land, water and sky. Then, divide them into some groups. In groups, they should take turns to think of an animal. Describe it. Guess one another’s animals and write them down in the table. 3. Provide examples to help Ss to describe the animals from different aspects. Step 3. Choosing animals Choose the animals for the zoo and tell the reasons based on the tips. Sa: I will choose elephants. They are strong and clever. They are also a symbol of good luck. They are huge. They can pick up and carry heavy things. They are very kind too. Step 4. Designing the zoo 1.Think of a name for the zoo. Try to make the name special. 2.Provide some advice on what we should or shouldn’t do while planning the areas. 3.Show a map of a zoo and guide ss to sum up the elements. According to the sample map, ss try to draw simple maps of the zoo with different animals in different areas. Step 5. Showing the design The teacher encourages ss to show their zoos and introduce them to the class. Provide some sentence structures. Then offer the sample writing and checklist. Sa: Welcome to our zoo! This is... Here you can see ... Step 6. Summary Let the students summarize the key knowledge in the lesson by themselves. T: T: Animals are our best friends! Protecting animals is protecting ourselves! Step 7. Homework 1.Write an article to the zoo with less than 100 words according to the chosen animals and the map in class. 2.Finish the exercise book. 创设动物园研学情境，激发学生的学习兴趣，导入本课的动物园话题，使学生明确本课任务。 在“看脚印猜动物”的游戏中，学生观察动物脚印，阅读动物描述，进而猜测动物，学习描述更多动物，为下一步动物园的筹备做准备。 积极创设展示机会，在为动物园选择动物的情境中，保持学生的学习兴趣。 继续在设计动物园的情境中，依照想名称、定位置、串路线等设计步骤，尝试运用所学语言解决实际问题，规划动物园游览路线图。 以小组为单位，在班级前进行成果展示，分享他们的动物园设计方案、设计过程中的挑战与收获、对动物园未来的展望等。
