教学目标
1. 语言知识目标 ：学生能够掌握描述动物的基本词汇和句型，如动物的名称name、外貌looks、栖息地home、食物food和能力ability。

教学过程
Step1. lead-in (5分钟)
1：教师展示如下几张动物的图片（企鹅、狮子、熊猫），引导学生说出这些动物的名称。
Question：What’s your favourite animal Why do you like it
设计目的：激发学生的兴趣，引入本课主题。
句型：What’s your favourite animal / My favourite animal is... / I like... because...step
Step 2. listening practice (10分钟)
Task 1：播放2a的对话录音，学生听录音并圈出听到的彩色单词。
Question：What animals are they talking about What do they say about the penguins
设计目的：训练学生的听力能力，理解对话内容。
Check the answer：penguin, cute, cool, lovely, amazing, swim, fly, Antarctica, cold, clever, smart, fish, sandwich
教师分析对话，学生积累以下句型：
They can't fly, but they can swim fast.
They are from Antarctica.
They eat fish and small sea animals.
Step3. speaking practice (15分钟)
Task2 ：学生分组练习2a的对话，注意模仿语音语调。
Question：Can you describe the penguins based on the conversation
设计意图：提高学生的口语表达能力，熟悉描述动物的句型。
教师提供以下句型脚手架：

Task 6：Work on 2e
学生根据2d的提示，制作一张关于自己最喜欢的动物的卡片。

设计意图：巩固所学知识，培养学生的写作能力。
单词提示：name, looks, home, food, ability
板书句型：

Step 6. 角色扮演 (10分钟)
Task7：学生使用2d的问题，互相询问对方最喜欢的动物，并记录下来。

Step 7. Summery and homework (5分钟)
Summery：师生问答总结本节课的主要内容，强调描述动物的关键句型。
Homework：将采访班上的一位同学，设计一个如同2e的卡片。
