Yeah, I do. I think it's a great idea. When I write in my diary, I can remember all the things that happened during the day. Like last week, I wrote about the school trip to the zoo. Now, when I read it, I can remember exactly what animals we saw and what we did. It's like a little memory book.
Do you keep a diary
Read the dialogue below. What are some benefits of keeping a diary
That's another reason why keeping a diary is good! It helps you improve your writing skills. The more you write, the better you get. You can learn new words and how to put sentences together. I used to make a lot of mistakes when I started, but now I can write much better.
That sounds cool. But I'm not very good at writing.
Read the dialogue below. What are some benefits of keeping a diary
Well, it's a good place to record your thoughts and feelings. Sometimes I'm happy or sad about something, and I can write it all down. It makes me feel better. Like when I had an argument with my friend, I wrote about how I felt, and it helped me figure out what to do.
Hmm, I see. What else
Read the dialogue below. What are some benefits of keeping a diary
Sure! Sometimes I get ideas for stories or things I want to do. I write them in my diary so I don't forget. One time, I thought of a really cool project for our science class, and I wrote it down. Then I told the teacher about it, and she liked it!
That's interesting. Do you ever write down new ideas
Read the dialogue below. What are some benefits of keeping a diary
I think you should! It's fun and useful. You can decorate it and make it your own special book.
Maybe I should start keeping a diary.

Sample answer:
Friday, 6 June
I had a really good day today. Our class went on a school trip to an art museum, and it was an eye-opening experience.
As we walked through the galleries, I was attracted by the beautiful paintings and unique sculptures. The old paintings were very beautiful. Some new artworks were a little strange, but I still liked them.
After the break, we joined in a small art workshop. We were asked to create our own art. I tried to paint a landscape, but it was much harder than it looked. Still, I had a great time experimenting with colors and brushstrokes.
This trip not only showed me the beauty of art but also made me realize how art can make us think and feel in different ways. I can't wait to go back and explore more on my own.
