Language points-系动词
英语动词中，有的动词后要接名词或代词等作宾语，有的可以单独作谓语，而有的则要接形容词或名词等作主语的补充成分。我们把后面接主语补充成分的动词称为系动词。系动词不能单独使用作谓语，必须与主语一起构成系表结构。系动词主要有以下几种分类：
1.状态系动词：be(am, is,are,was, were)主要用于表示主语的特征，状态和身份。
He is a teacher.
他是一名老师。
He was busy.
他当时很忙。

2.持续系动词：keep,remain, stay
表示人或食物的状态保持一致，没有发生变化，意为“保持”。
She always keeps silent at the meeting.
她开会时总是保持沉默。
Her rooms remains clean and tidy.
她的房间一直保持干净整洁的状态。
3.表象系动词：look, seem,appear 意为“似乎，好像”
He looks very tired.
他看起来好像很累。

4. 感官系动词：feel, smell, sound, taste 表示感官感受。
Silk feels smooth.
丝绸摸起来很有光泽。
The milk smells sour.
牛奶闻起来有股馊味儿。
5.变化系动词：become, grow, turn, fall, get, go
He becomes excited before the match.
他在比赛前变得很兴奋。
Lisa turned red. 丽萨的脸红了。
