一、教材分析
What: 2a是一篇Eric的求助信。文章主要讲述了Eric的家庭规则和学校规则，以及Eric对于这些规则的感受，2b，2c则需要在老师的指导下根据Eric描述的家庭规则给予自己的建议
Project内容主要分为三项活动，逐步引导学生设计班级规则。
Why: 2a语篇中让读者了解Eric的家庭规则和学校规则。
Project的班级规则设计，设置真实场景，启发学生的想象力和思维能力。
How: 2a语篇中采用了简洁明了的叙述方式，通过情态动词的练习，进一步加强同学们用情态动词描述规则的理解和运用。
Project中通过对班级规则设计并介绍自己设计的规则，复习有关规则描述的核心句式，建构规则描述的写作结果与模式，进一步增强学生对语言的实际运用能力；最后一部分通过自我反思检测学生的掌握效果。
二、教学内容
复习本单元规则描述及提出建议的方式以及重点句型，列出规则描述及提出建议的内容要点。
三、教学目标
1.复习情态动词的用法。
2.能够将本单元所学的核心目标语言迁移应用到自己的写作之中。
3.通过不同方式的练习来熟练表达自己周围的规则及对这些规则的看法。
4.培养学生用英语表达和制定简单规则的能力，养成遵守规章制度、按规则办事的意识。。
四、教学重难点
重点：1. 能读懂有关规则的语篇材料
2. 练习运用所学的知识来表述自己对规则的看法
3. 能结合已学写出自己身边的规则。
难点：能够用书面的形式写自己身边的规则并表述自己对规则的看法。

Step 1 Lead in
T: Hello, everyone, can you remember what we learned in this unit Good, let’s look at the slides and try to review what we have learned before. Can you retell the passage in 2b
【设计意图】：对本单元课时中的重点词汇和句型，还有出行方式的表达进行总结性的复习。温故而知新，为接下来的写作打好基础。
Step 2 Work on 2a
1. Complete the passage with can, have to/must or can’t/mustn’t.
2. Check the answers.

3. Let’s read the text together, please work in groups and find out what rules does Eric mention.
Eric’s main problems He has to follow too many rules at home and at school.
Eric’s home rules He has to clean his room every day and can’t let the desk get untidy.He can’t watch TV before finishing his homework, walking the dog, and doing lots of other things.He has to practise the violin every day and can’t relax at weekends.
Eric’s school rules He can’t wear his own clothes or wear his favourite cap.
Eric’s feeling He never has fun.

1. Let students talk about each rule above according to the questions in 2b and give their answers.
