Hello, tree lovers! Today is 12 March—Tree Planting Day. Some Grade 7 students are here in People’s e with me to see what is happening.
Right now, some students are digging deep holes in the ground. They are working hard to make sure the holes are big enough for the saplings. Other students are carrying saplings carefully.
Some students are planting the saplings into the holes. They are putting the saplings upright and filling the holes with soil. After that, some students are using sticks to support the saplings, making sure they stand firmly. And there are also students who are watering the saplings. They are pouring water gently to help the saplings take root. The students are all very busy but they look happy.
