三、词义辨析
（一）kind of /a kind of /kinds of
kind of 意为 “有点儿”，相当于副词，用来修饰形容词或副词。例如：The koala is kind of lazy. 这只考拉有点儿懒。
a kind of 意为 “一种”，表示种类。例如：This is a kind of animal. 这是一种动物。
kinds of 意为 “各种各样的”，后接名词复数。例如：There are kinds of flowers in the garden. 花园里有各种各样的花。
（二）forget to do sth. /forget doing sth.
forget to do sth. 意为 “忘记去做某事”，事情还没有做。例如：Don't forget to close the door. 别忘了关门。
forget doing sth. 意为 “忘记做过某事”，事情已经做了，但忘记了。例如：I forget closing the door. 我忘记我关过门了。
（三）be made of /be made from
be made of 表示 “由…… 制成”，能看出原材料。例如：The desk is made of wood. 这张桌子是由木头制成的。
be made from 表示 “由…… 制成”，看不出原材料。例如：Paper is made from wood. 纸是由木头制成的。
