原级用来描述一个/类人或事物，不表示比较；比较级表示两个/类人或事物之间的比较；最高级表示三个/类或以上人或事物之间的比较。

从例句中可以看出，在对两者进行比较时，形容词（或副词）要用比较级形式，即“形容词(或副词）比较级+than+比较的对象”。
E.g. Summer is a hotter season than spring.

我们要将三个或三个以上的事物进行比较时，要用形容词（或副词）的最高级形式来表达，即“the+形容词（或副词）的最高级+比较的范围”。
E.g. He is the tallest in our class.
She lives (the) closest to school of all my classmates.
Tip： 形容词最高级前一定要加the，副词最高级前的the可省略。
