Watch the video and pay attention to the structure “as...as...”.
Read the sentences and guess the usage of the structure.
as+adj. 原级+as... 意为：和……一样
The bottle is as flat as a pancake.

同级比较
一、含义
as...as...的意思是“和……一样……”，表示双方某方面程度相同，用于同级比较。
E.g. Li Lei runs as quickly as Li Ming.
Li Lei is as tall as Li Ming.
二、构成
e.g. Lucy speaks Chinese as well as Lily.
as+形容词/副词原级+as...
e.g. My handwriting is as beautiful as yours.
在否定句中，用“not as/ so +原级形容词/副词as”结构，表示前者不如后者。
三、否定形式
e.g. My sister is not as careful as my brother.
我妹妹不像我哥哥那样细心。
It isn't so cold as yesterday. 今天没有昨天那么冷。
Jim can’t run so fast as Tony. Jim跑得不如Tony快。
Rewrite the sentences using (more/ less)... than or as... as.
