Step 1 情景导入
Enjoy a video about many kinds of animals,like Animal World,with students,then make a dialogue by asking them questions:

环节说明:形形色色的动物能激发学生的好奇心,产生了解它们的欲望,学会用英文表达。有助于对学生英语学习兴趣的培养。
Step 2 完成教材1a-1d的任务
1.在1a每幅动物图片下面写上它们的英文名称,邀请学生补充更多的动物。
2.听录音1b,回答问题。学习P74听力原文。
3.预习1c听力题,再听一遍1c录音,完成1c的判断题,核对答案。
4.翻开课后听力原文部分,再次听录音,大声跟读。
5.以小组形式完成1d。谈论你最喜欢的动物并说出原因。
6.跟搭档一起训练这组对话,选取几组同学上台展示。尽可能多的用不同的形容词来形容自己喜欢或者不喜欢的动物。
环节说明:这一环节通过听说写,认识并谈论自己最喜欢的动物,增加学生们对动物的了解并且学会用Why和Because进行问和答。
Step 3 完成教材1-3的任务
1.听录音1并大声跟读。注意a,ai,ay,al,aw的发音。然后举例更多的单词。
2.教师教读,然后和搭档一起练习读,互相纠音。
3.以开火车的形式一组组检查发音。
4.听录音2,重复跟读。注意 (e)s在不同单词后的不同发音。
5.教师带领学生一起发现规律并总结 (e)s的发音。
清对清:清辅音后读/s/
浊对浊:浊辅音后读/z/
元对浊:元音后读/z/
特殊情况:t+s读/ts/;d+s读/dz/
6.听录音3,注意句子的弱读,跟读模仿。教师带领学生一起发现总结规律:助动词、代词、连词、冠词、情态动词等常常弱读。
环节说明:通过字母音标的学习和练习,名词后加(e)s的发音练习,句子弱读的练习,提高学生发音以及根据音标记忆单词的能力。
