Reading Plus Visiting New Places
I. Teaching Objectives
1. Students can accurately master key vocabulary and phrases, quickly
obtain key information during reading, and proficiently use the present
continuous tense. They are able to correctly apply the learned knowledge in
oral and written expressions, clearly describe what they see and hear, and
improve the accuracy and fluency of their expressions.
2. By learning about the travel experiences of different characters in
the text, students can understand the cultural features and scenic spots of
various places, enhance their tolerance and respect for diverse cultures,
stimulate their desire for exploration, and improve their cross - cultural
communication awareness.
3. During reading analysis, students can develop logical thinking, learn
to extract and summarize information, and use critical thinking to solve
