get 去取；去拿 指到某地去把某人或某物带来或拿来。表示来回。

【辨析】however与but
两者均可意为“然而；不过”，表示转折，区别如下：
however 副词 可位于句首、句中、句末，一般用逗号与句子其他 其他成分隔开。 比but正式，但转折不如but明显。
but 连词 常位于句中，其后通常不用逗号隔开。 表示明显的转折关系。
in danger 处于危险之中 其反义短语为out of danger“脱离危险”。danger作名词，意为“危险”，其形容词形式为dangerous“危险的”。
如：Last week we raised money to protect the animals in danger.
上周，我们筹集了资金来保护濒危动物。
The patient is out of danger. 这个病人脱离危险了。

(2) cut down还可意为“减少，缩减”。
