情态动词can的用法
Language point.
can是情态动词，意思是“能”“会”，没有人称和数的变化，但它不能单独作谓语，只能和实义动词原形或be动词原形一起构成谓语。
常见用法:
1. 表示具有某种能力，多指脑力或体力方面的某种能力。
eg. Pandas can climb trees. 熊猫会爬树。
否定直接在can后面加not。
Giraffes can’t swim. 长颈鹿不会游泳。
2. 表示请求、许可。
eg. Can you help me, please 请问你能帮帮我吗

1. also意为“也”“还”，表示两件事的性质相近或两件事情发生的时间相同，也可表示刚说过的话也适用于另一个人或物。在句中起补充追加的作用。
2. also多位于实义动词之前，系动词或情态动词之后。
eg. He is also an American. 他也是美国人。
