Now, it’s my pleasure to introduce some basic customs to you.First and foremost, when meeting people, we show our respect in special ways. We are supposed to shake hands firmly and look into each other's eyes. A warm smile is also necessary. In some places, especially during the Spring Festival, people may greet with a traditional fist and palm salute (gongshou), which is like a bow with hands folded in front. What’s more, table manners are rich and interesting. We always wait for the elders to start eating first. Chopsticks are everywhere, but we are not expected to point at others with them. Also, we are never supposed to stick chopsticks into the rice, as it's related to bad luck. We try to eat quietly without making much noise. Besides, when having a meal with guests, the host often picks up food for them, showing great hospitality. To sum up, these traditional manners are not only rules but also a reflection of our values, passing down our respect, kindness, and love through generations. And I hope that these manners can help you a lot. 展开更多...... 收起↑ 资源预览
