Like most of the villages, small towns and even the suburbs in China, my hometown has undergone a significant transformation under the Rural Vitalization Strategy.
First and foremost, new roads and bridges have improved transportation, ensuring the remote areas easy access to the neighboring towns and cities for mutual exchange of technology and resources. Additionally, upgraded schools and hospitals have enhanced people’s quality of life. Most importantly, tourism has flourished, with visitors pouring in to experience our rich culture and amazing landscapes. Farmers now provide fruit picking and rural cuisine tastings, boosting the local economy. Our village, once forgotten, now shines like a jewel in the sun.
