You are divided into two groups, “Sweden” and “Africa”. Each group read the respective text.
What are the differences between the waste management in Sweden and that of some countries in Africa
In Sweden, half of the country’s household and industrial waste is burnt to produce electricity. Waste such as scrap metal, plastic, glass and food scraps is reused or recycled.
In some countries of Africa, recycled scraps are turned into schoolbags and footwear which is sold around the world.
