Last Sunday afternoon, I was reading a book and had just come to the most interesting part when my little brother, Tex, rushed into my room. “Look at these cool paper airplanes I made!” Tex exclaimed, throwing one directly at my head.
Annoyed, I asked him for some peace and quiet so I could continue reading. “Ooh! I want to read!” said Tex.
He climbed onto my bed and eagerly asked if I could read the book out loud to him. I replied that I didn’t want to read out loud.
Sensing my bad mood, Tex decided to cheer me up. He dashed out of my room and returned a minute later, dumping a basket full of stuffed animals all over me. “A teddybear picnic!”“No, Tex, not today.” I got up, dragged myself to the living room and flopped into the chair, feeling grumpy(暴躁的). Tex stood in the doorway, a disappointed look on his face.
Although I knew Tex was just trying to help, I couldn’t shake off my bad feelings. Just then, my friend Ollie arrived, excitedly holding a brand-new basketball. He suggested that we head to the park and try it out.
Feeling too absorbed in my bad mood, I sighed and told Ollie that I was too busy being in the world’s worst mood to do anything at all. Curious about my annoyance, Ollie asked what had happened. I told him Tex had interrupted my reading and for some unknown reason, it had put me in a really grumpy mood. Ollie then mentioned that when he was in a bad mood, he liked to move his body.
“I’d love to move,” I said. “To a tropical island!”
“Not that kind of move!” Ollie said “I move my body. You know, skateboard, basketball, go for a walk, and
do jumping jacks. Exercise makes me feel e on!”
I sighed, thinking that exercise was the last thing I wanted to do in my grumpy state. But Ollie’s words echoed in my mind, and I realized that maybe he was right.

示范 1
Para 1
Unwillingly, I agreed to go to the park with him. Ollie’s relentless energy was contagious: we raced to the court, shot hoops, and even attempted ridiculous trick shots. Mid-laugh, I spotted Tex hiding behind a tree, clutching his teddy. “Wanna play ” I called. His eyes lit up. Soon, he was giggling as we let him ‘win’ by catching the ball. The sun warmed my back, and my irritation melted like ice cream on a summer day.
Para 2
At sunset, I was on my way back home, tired but no longer in a grumpy mood. Tex swung my hand, chattering about his “basketball skills.” “Sorry I messed up your reading,” he said suddenly. I squeezed his shoulder. “Let’s read together tomorrow, okay ” He nodded, beaming. Later, I found him arranging teddy bears in a circle, whispering, “This is our team.” I smiled, realizing that sometimes, the best stories aren’t in books—they’re in the moments we create.

Para 1
Unwillingly, I agreed to go to the park with him. Ollie suggested skateboarding, and soon I was flying down the path, wind stinging my cheeks. The rush of speed drowned out my thoughts until I heard a tiny “Wow!” Tex stood by the fence, eyes wide. I skidded to a stop. “Wanna try ” I asked. For the next hour, we wobbled together, Ollie coaching us both. My anger faded, replaced by pride as Tex finally balanced on the board.
Para 2
At sunset, I was on my way back home, tired but no longer in a grumpy mood. Tex clutched the skateboard, chattering nonstop. “I’m gonna be so good,” he declared. “I’ll teach you next time,” I teased. Later, as I tucked him in, he whispered, “You’re my favorite teacher.” My throat tightened. Outside, his paper airplanes fluttered in the wind—reminders that sometimes, the best interruptions lead to the 最美 memories.
参考答案
Unwillingly, I agreed to go to the park with him. When we arrived at the park, Ollie handed me the basketballand challenged me to a game of one-on-one. At first, I was not in the mood, but Ollie kept on encouraging me. Aswe dribbled and shot the ball, I found myself slowly getting into the game. Focusing on it, I began to feel aglimmer of joy and excitement. After a while, we were both laughing and enjoying ourselves. The fresh air, thelaughter, and the joy of playing basketball made us forget about the time.
At sunset, I was on my way back home, tired but no longer in grumpy mood. When I entered the house, Texlooked up at me with eager eyes, yet hesitated to approach. “Hey, buddy.” I smiled at him, ruffling his hair. “Howabout reading the story to you before bedtime ” Tex’s eyes lit up, and he nodded excitedly. That night, Tex climbedonto my bed once again, snuggling up beside me, content to listen to the story quietly. I couldn’t help but feelgrateful for Ollie, who helped lift me out of my negative emotion and allowed me to enjoy the moment.
