Let’s Take Part in Labor Activities
Labor is the source of all happiness. It is necessary for teenagers to take part in labor activities. And I think it is good to do housework.
Doing chores helps to develop children’s independence and teaches them how to look after themselves. I used to be lazy at home. One day, my mom came home from work and she looked tired and sick. I told her to take a rest but she was still worried about me because I couldn’t cook even a bowl of noodles. Seeing this, I felt shameful. From then on, I decided to learn what my mom always did at home. I usually sweep the floor and clean the living room. Sometimes I help my mom do some shopping. And I also learn how to cook from my mom every weekend. Doing chores not only helps me learn basic life skills, but also bring my family closer.
One thing I have learned from this experience is that everyone has to do a part in sharing housework. I hope we teenagers can take part in these labor activities to live a meaningful life.
