Zhou Longshan was a teacher who was born in a small village near the Baiyangdian Lake, a major wetland in northern China. Growing up there, he has many beautiful childhood memories about the wetland.
When Zhou Longshan started filming birds 10 years ago at Baiyangdian Lake, he just wanted to record his favorite birds. Over time, Zhou’s interest in birds continued to grow. In 2021, he was named “a bird watcher” by the government, responsible for regular patrols (定期巡逻) and popularizing knowledge of birds.
