2. The minute I sat down in front of the TV, my mom came over.
我刚一坐到电视前面，我妈就走了过来。
the minute (that)为时间名词，表示“一……就……”， 相当于as soon as,其后的 that 经常省略， minute前可以用 very 等形容词修饰。 the minute引导时间状语从句，主句用一般将来时态时，从句一般用一般现在时,即句子时态遵从“主将从现”。

neither用作副词，作“也不”解释，放在句首。
表示前面陈述的否定情况也适于另一人（物）时，常用“Neither/ Nor ＋ be/助动词/情态动词＋主语.”这种倒装结构。
表示前面陈述的肯定情况也适于另一人（物）时，常用“So ＋ be/助动词/情态动词＋主语.”这种倒装结构，表示“另一人（物）也如此。”

拓展：
neither也可用作形容词，意为“两者都不”，放在单数名词前。
