考点 辨析do with与deal with
(1)二者都意为“对付；处理；应付”。
(2)do with侧重于应付的对象，deal with侧重于应付的方式、方法。在特殊疑问句中，do with与what连用，deal with则与how连用。
如：I don't know how they will deal with the problem.＝I don't know what they will do with the problem.我不知道他们将如何处理这个问题。
考点 辨析no longer与no more
no longer 相当于not… any longer，强调时间或状态上不再延续，通常与延续性动词连用
no more 相当于not…anymore，强调数量或程度上不再变化，多与短暂性动词连用
如：You are no longer a child.你不再是个孩子了。
I will no more make the same mistake.我不会再犯同样的错。
考点 own的用法
own作动词，意为“拥有；有”，其名词形式为owner，意为“主
人”。
【拓展】own还可作形容词，意为“自己的”。与形容词性物主代词连用时，相当于of one's own，意为“属于某人自己的”。
考点 as for的用法
as for意为“至于；关于”，其后跟名词、代词或动名词，可置于句首或句中。
如：As for improving English，why not consider reading some English novels？至于提高英语，为什么不考虑读些英文小说呢？

certain形容词，意为“某种；某事；某人”。
【拓展】certain作形容词还可意为“确信；无疑”。其常见用法有：

(3)be certain about sth.肯定/确信某事

honest形容词，意为“诚实的；老实的”，其反义词为dishonest。常用短语：to be honest意为“说实在的”，在句中作插入语，常位于句首。
