1. 定义
过去进行时
常和表示过去的时间状语连用，如： at this time yesterday / at 9:00 last night / the whole morning 等。

1. *when: 既指时间点，也可指一段时间
while: 只表示一段时间
（while从句中的动词必须是延续性动词）
